Howdy there, sugar, my name's Drake (affectionately called Drakie cakie). I'm an old-fashioned southern gentleman (north Texas, if you're wondering), and I am really, really old. : D I tend to obsess over Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, and Avatar. I enjoy anime and manga to a certain extent, but I'm really not all that into it; I prefer sci-fi and fantasy. I love costumes and cosplaying, and I frequently camwhore them.

Other things I do are role plays, drawing, listening to music (way too loud), reading, dancing (belly dance, to be specific), and messing with my hair. Don't even try to keep up with it; it changes from month to month practically.

I really don't like people who boast about themselves. Honestly, if you're just going to talk to me to talk about how awesome you are, then please fuck off. I don't tolerate arrogance and elitism. Also, clinginess and whininess piss me off. I don't mind listening to some woes, but if that's the only thing you're ever going to talk about, then get ready for some tough love.

However, I DO like people who are able to hold actual CONVERSATIONS. :D Fancy that, eh? I fancy intelligence and common sense, as well as wittiness. Basically, don't be a dumb bitch, and I'll probably like you.

My personality type is INTJ, which basically means I'm a pessimistic curmudgeon. So please excuse me if I'm rather cynical about things. Also, please don't call me a he/she or something; I'm a guy, so please use male pronouns if you bother to read this.

HBP Midnight Premiere!

Did anyone else go?

I had the rockenest time ever. :> It makes me sad that only two more movies will be coming out in which to see the midnight releases of. Hahaha some kids even interviewed me, young Albus Dumbledore, for a Youtube video. That was fun. Only bad part was that Maresa picked seats reeeeally close to the screen, so I had to take every precaution NOT to have a seizure. xDDD We would have moved, except for the fact that the theater filled up like, four hours before the movie even started. I had bought three tickets in advance like, four weeks ago, so I was set when I got there. Didn't have a line or anything. However, the two people who were supposed to come with me couldn't make it, so I gave those tickets away so I didn't feel like I had wasted twenty bucks on them.

BUT ANYWAY. I enjoyed being young, gay, fabulous Dumbledore. Hopefully I'll have pictures of that soon. :]

SO IF YOU SAW THE MIDNIGHT PREMIERE (or just the movie in general) THEN TELL ME HOW MUCH FUN YOU HAD.

Haaa welcome to Georgia! And I stupidly still do marching band. SO, every day at 8am I get onto the soccer field and march in the blistering sun and humidity. What time do we end? Hmm, oh about FIVE PM. And then we have this day called "Marathon day". We stay out there from 8 in the morning to 9 at night. Some summer break ><
